Things I’m
thinking about.

Small observations from the space between a good question and a better idea.

01 — Make room

On attention

The best ideas rarely arrive when you ask them to.

They show up sideways: on the walk home, between tabs, halfway through explaining something to someone else. Good creative work needs a little unclaimed space around it. Not more input. More room to notice.

Let the rough version exist for a while. A first draft is not a verdict. It is a door left open.

“Clarity is not
a style. It is
a kindness.”

02 — Stay curious

On taste

Taste is a muscle, not a mood.

It gets stronger when you use it deliberately. Save the strange reference. Follow the thread that does not make sense yet. Ask why something feels right before you ask how to make it yours.

The point is not to collect answers. It is to keep your questions alive long enough for the work to surprise you.

Make something
worth noticing.
